This pencil illustration was used in a line of Christmas cards that I produced myself and have distributed to my acquaintances, co-workers, friends and family over the years. For this drawing, I wanted to illustrate the importance of Christ's birth. The star in the picture represents the "Light of the world" coming down and as it hit's the stable, it refracts, going in many directions at once, escaping through the spaces between the boarded walls, all stemming from the same source...just as Christ has impacted the entire world.
