The third Peeve comic strip ever drawn (also drawn on the same date as the first two) addresses the character of Peeve (now that we've introduced both
Elvin and Peeve in the second strip). The initial idea was that Peeve just does whatever it is that people (or the reader) doesn't like. Thus, he's the
physical embodiment (in the cartoon world anyway) of one's pet peeves. So here we seehim a bit of a liar, a bit of a complainer, and not much of a
listener. Naturally, he get's Elvin's goat. - PMC
